How it works

From idea to finished saree

Our process is simple and transparent. You share your idea, we paint a sample for approval, then produce your full order. No surprises.

    Share your idea

    Send us an image, sketch, mood board, or description over WhatsApp or email. Tell us the fabric you want, the colours, the approximate quantity, and your timeline. Nothing needs to be formal — we'll guide the conversation.

  2. 02

    We send a quote

    Within 24 hours we'll confirm the per-piece price based on design complexity, fabric, and quantity. Pricing is transparent — no hidden costs.

  3. 03

    Sample is painted & shipped

    We paint one sample piece (paid separately, credited back on your order) and ship it to you within 7–10 days. You review it in person — texture, colour, painting quality.

  4. 04

    You approve — production begins

    Once you approve the sample, we schedule your full production. Lead time is 15–30 days depending on quantity and design. You receive regular photo updates.

  5. 05

    Quality check & delivery

    Every piece is inspected before packing. We ship worldwide via courier (DHL, FedEx) or sea freight, with full commercial invoicing and tracking.

Custom design FAQ

What is the minimum order for a custom design?+
The minimum order for custom designs is 10 pieces per design in one colour variation, or 25 pieces across multiple colourways. Smaller quantities are possible for sample orders.
Can I supply my own fabric?+
Yes. We accept fabric from your end. Just courier your plain sarees to our atelier in Surat and we'll paint them as per your design. We also source fabric on your behalf if you prefer.
How exact is the reproduction of my reference image?+
Hand-painting always carries a natural, artistic variation from piece to piece — this is part of what makes hand-painted sarees special. For very precise replications (logos, specific artworks), we do a detailed sample first and refine until you're satisfied before production begins.
Do the colours wash out?+
We use professional textile pigments that are fixed using heat-setting and steam-fixing processes. With proper care (cold hand-wash or dry clean), the colours are designed to last for years. Each saree comes with a care card.
How long does the entire process take?+
From your first message to receiving your full order: approximately 30–45 days. This includes 7–10 days for sampling, your review and approval, 15–25 days for production, and 3–7 days shipping. Rush orders are possible for an additional fee.
What if I don't like the sample?+
We iterate until you're happy. If the first sample doesn't meet your expectations, we'll adjust the colours, design elements, or technique and do a revised sample. Our goal is your full confidence before production begins.
